Terms Of Services
Terms Of Services:
1. Deposits and Payment
A deposit or full payment is required to confirm your registration for any workshop, class, retreat, or membership program.
2. If You Need to Cancel
We understand that plans change! If you need to cancel, here's how refunds work (minus any transaction fees):
100% refund if you cancel before May 1st.
50% refund if you cancel up to 90 days before your program
No refund if you cancel less than 90 days before your program
You are eligible to transfer your place to someone else on your responsibility
3. Program Modifications and Cancellations by Strings of Hope
We may need to adjust session content, instructors, schedules, and activities before or during any program as needed.
Strings of Hope reserves the right to cancel any scheduled program for any reason.
If a program is cancelled within 90 days of the start date due to circumstances beyond our control (including natural disasters, severe weather, public health emergencies, civil unrest, government restrictions, facility unavailability, or instructor illness), we will make reasonable efforts to calculate costs already incurred and provide a prorated refund based on those expenses. Such refunds are at Strings of Hope's discretion.
Strings of Hope assumes no further financial responsibility to participants beyond any applicable refund in the event of program cancellation or modification. Any personal expenses (travel, accommodations, etc.) resulting from schedule changes or cancellations are the participant's responsibility.
Participants removed from a program due to disruptive conduct or behavior that negatively impacts other participants will receive no refund. Strings of Hope bears no additional liability in such cases.
4. Partial Attendance
No refunds will be issued for participants who fail to attend a scheduled program, join after the program has commenced, or depart before program completion, for any reason.
5. Documentation Requirements for In-Person Programs
Participants are responsible for obtaining and maintaining current health insurance and any required documentation (including valid identification, visas, or vaccinations) for retreat locations.
While Strings of Hope may provide general guidance regarding documentation requirements, participants bear full responsibility for ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Strings of Hope is not liable for costs incurred if a participant is denied entry to a program location due to inadequate documentation or any other reason.
6. Health, Safety, and Accessibility
Accessibility: Retreat venues may include multi-level facilities requiring stair navigation and may not be wheelchair accessible.
Physical Requirements: In-person programs are designed for participants who can navigate stairs independently, walk unassisted for a minimum of 30 minutes, and participate without mobility aids such as wheelchairs or walkers.
General Health: Participants must be in sufficient health to fully engage in all program activities as outlined in the program description.
Group Experience: As these are group learning experiences, participants must be capable of self-care throughout the program and agree not to hinder program flow or diminish other participants' experience.
Medical Disclosure: Participants must inform Strings of Hope of any medical conditions or physical limitations that could affect their safety, the safety of others, or their ability to fully participate.
Participation Restrictions: Strings of Hope and its instructors reserve the right to limit or terminate participation, without refund and at the participant's expense, for anyone who fails to disclose relevant medical information, misrepresents their physical capabilities, or cannot safely meet program requirements.
Medical Consultation: Participants are encouraged to review program requirements carefully and consult with their healthcare provider regarding their ability to participate before registering.
