Here’s a little excerpt from our recent Heart and Soul workshop from the Strings Of Hope membership for you to play along with.

We’re playing with three notes in the right hand, C, D and E, over the 'Heart and Soul' chord pattern.

You're welcome to try playing along, then spend a little time making up your own melody with those three notes.

The key takeaway from this lesson is noticing the power of chords, and how they effect even simple melody notes (as a matter of fact, even just a single note!). Notice how each time we change the chords, the entire feel of the melody changes and the story our music is telling takes on new depth
