Question & Answer Improvisation

In this play-along, we take turns improvising in question-and-answer style over an A harmonic minor scale and a steady drone. I’ll play a musical question, leave you space to listen and breathe, and then you answer at your own harp.

If you’re not sure where to begin, try three simple steps: listen to what you just heard, give yourself a breath to imagine an answer, and then play it back. Your answer can reverse the phrase, reshape it, or continue one small idea.

Think of it like a conversation. You do not need to create something from nothing each time—the music can keep growing from what was already said.
